Battery Protection Components for Drones & Robots

Custom cushioning, spacing, insulation and thermal-management parts for lightweight UAV and robotic battery assemblies.

FLEXCEND cleanroom production floor with multiple precision converting lines

Grade-specific performance is supplied with the recommended material. Final assembly validation remains application-specific.

The engineering risk

Why the material alone is not the answer

Battery packs in mobile systems must manage movement, cell and enclosure tolerances, electrical isolation, local heat and weight. Final pack safety and performance remain application-specific and require system-level validation.

Common install positions

  • Cell-to-cell or cell-to-wall spacer
  • Pack lid cushioning
  • Busbar and terminal insulation
  • Controller-to-pack thermal interface
  • Housing seal
How the construction works

Match each function to the assembly.

01

Cushioning

Foam and silicone pads accommodate gap and assembly variation.

02

Electrical isolation

Die-cut films protect terminals, busbars and conductive housings.

03

Thermal interface

Pads and heat spreaders manage heat at electronics and pack interfaces.

04

Assembly retention

Adhesive-backed parts support repeatable placement.

  • Cell format and chemistry
  • Pack position
  • Gap and dimensions
  • Temperature
  • Compression requirement
  • Electrical and environmental requirements
Engineering questions

Before you specify the part

Do you make complete battery packs?

No. We manufacture custom converted functional components used within customer-designed packs and modules.

Can you recommend a pad before final cell testing?

We can propose candidate constructions from the mechanical inputs, but final performance must be validated in the customer’s pack and duty cycle.
